Common questions about member shifts

How do I organize member shifts in a food co-op?
In shiftfold, you create your food co-op's recurring tasks as shifts, for example shop duty, deliveries or cleaning. Members sign up themselves and swap among each other. Every member sees how many hours they've already contributed.
How do I keep track of whether every member does their hours?
shiftfold keeps an hour account for every member. You see at a glance who's on track and who isn't, without counting lists.
What happens when a member can't make it at short notice?
The member offers their shift for a swap. Other members see it and can take over. You're informed, but you don't have to find a replacement yourself.
Does shiftfold work for food banks and other nonprofits?
Yes. Wherever volunteers take on regular shifts, such as food distribution, pickups or a café, shiftfold works the same way: create shifts, share a link, people sign up themselves.
We're a small club. Is shiftfold worth it for us?
If you're ten people who all know each other, a shared calendar is often enough. shiftfold pays off once you no longer know everyone personally or have to fill shifts every week.
Is shift planning with shiftfold GDPR compliant?
Yes. You get a data processing agreement, and your members' data is never used for ads or tracking.
